The side quest is still sitting in my long and there is no way for me to scan a Mark-7 robot.
DEATHSPANK THONGS OF VIRTUE MAC HOW TO
I have not found out how to get it back as the quest giver wont give me a new one nor does it show up in the lost and found. This suggests that Deathspank was corrupted by his Thong the whole time, and had actually been doing evil things the whole game, but the Thong changed his, and the player's mind, making us think we're doing good by gathering all the other thongs. I had the Scanner equipped during the Sanctuary boss fights and found it missing when the fight ended. In this ending, Deathspank killed Sandy and took the rest of the Thongs, in the name of justice. Later, Sandy also wondered why Deathspank's Thong hadn't corrupted him, and suggested that Deathspank was too lazy to be corrupted.
The 'fight Sandy' ending was particularly chilling, since, at one point in the game, Sandy explained to Deathspank that the Thongs corrupt the wearer to do evil things, yet making the wearer think that what they're doing is right, as well as making them gather the rest of the Thongs. Deathapank: Thongs of Virtue Deathspank: The Baconing Penny Arcade 1 & 2 DeathSpank got selected as Apples Mac Store Best Games of 2011 award. One ending has Deathspank sacrificing himself so that Sandy can destroy his Thong, while the other has Deathspank seeing through Sandy's 'deception' and then kill her. It's got two endings a good ending, and a bad ending, but it's hard to tell which is which.
